Job description

SEEKING A SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE TO JOIN OUR TEAM!

Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be the initial point of contact for potential borrowers, responsible for proactive outbound outreach to identify and qualify leads for our residential transition loan products (bridge, fix-and-flip, heavy renovation, and ground-up construction). This role involves engaging potential clients, understanding their financing needs, and scheduling qualified appointments for our Sales Executives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make a high volume of outbound calls daily to potential borrowers using provided lead lists and scripts.
  • Research prospects to understand their real estate investment profiles and pain points to personalize communication.
  • Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria (e.g., project type, experience, location, loan type) to ensure a high-quality handoff to Sales Executives.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings for the sales team, managing their calendars effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all prospect interactions and lead statuses within our CRM system (Hubspot).
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to provide feedback on lead quality and refine outreach strategies and scripts.
  • Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets for call volumes, talk time, and qualified appointments set.

Common Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in an outbound call center, telemarketing, inside sales, or a similar lead generation/appointment setting role is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and energetic phone presence and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to manage a pipeline of leads and juggle multiple requests concurrently.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools.
  • A positive, resilient attitude and the ability to handle objections and rejection effectively.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong desire to win and move up within a sales organization.
  • A basic understanding of real estate or financial services is a plus, but not required (training will be provided).
