Job description

Quant Trading Specialist for a Systematic Trading Firm (NYC or CT)
Role/Responsibilities:
  • Perform trade execution and system monitoring activities for a variety of products and asset classes on behalf of the firm and portfolio managers
  • Monitor systematic portfolio construction, execution, connectivity and related processes
  • Perform system checks, portfolio risk, manage corporate actions, and other adjustments to portfolios
  • Actively develop and maintain both internal client and external broker relationships

Requirements:
  • Experience with multi-asset global electronic order flow management and monitoring
  • Understanding of order lifecycle from order generation to booking & TCA
  • Experience in a programming language (Python, C/C++, etc.)
  • Experience with SQL and database programming
  • Ability to anticipate problems and effectively follow to resolution
  • Strong communication skills are a must
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly organized and detail oriented

Preferred:
  • Familiar with market micro-structures and common execution algorithms for listed products
  • Experience navigating the Linux operating system
