Job Description

VEA is seeking a Requirements Analyst to join a multidisciplined team supporting a federal client. Requirements Analyst will work closely with the development team, as well as with the client designated users in order to gather and write system requirements for any new programming. This will include gathering requirements for changes to existing applications. The analyst is the intermediary between the customer and the development team throughout a project's life cycle. The analyst must confirm, therefore, that regardless of the project stage, the requirements reflect the end users' needs and that the system being developed reflects the requirements.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of an active Top-Secret clearance
  • B.S. or BA. Computer Science, Information systems, Business Administration (concentration in technology) or equivalent military or work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years+ as a requirements analyst or manager
  • Excellent communication
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Excellent technical writer
  • Hands-on experience with data providing meaningful, actionable insights to improve business processes and outcomes for clients.
  • Able to communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to multi-task on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; able to manage project tasks, scope change, and schedules to keep projects on-track.
  • Experience with Service Now and Gitlab a plus
