  • Lead and support investigations into customer complaints, identify root causes, coordinate containment activities, and implement corrective actions
  • Use data analysis, visual inspections, and reported concerns to identify internal product and process issues
  • Coordinate short- and long-term resolutions with involved team members
  • Collaborate with team members on dispositioning suspect materials and provide rationale and guidance
  • Work on the shop floor with operators to integrate quality thinking and foster local problem-solving
  • Lead and support manufacturing projects that improve product quality, equipment efficiency, workplace environment, and daily tasks
  • Organize and oversee internal product and process trials on the shop floor
  • Use operator feedback and site resources to identify and resolve issues
  • Teach and coach shop floor personnel and share technical knowledge and reactionary logic
  • Develop deeper technical expertise in extrusion, painting, and fabrication
  • Benchmark and standardize best practices with colleagues across the organization
  • Uphold quality compliance and ethical behavior, and coach direct reports on compliance and ethical practices
Requirements
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering or related field (required)
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in manufacturing quality engineering (required)
  • Experience with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) (preferred)
  • Experience working with a tier 1 automotive supplier (preferred)
  • Experience using PC-DMIS CMM (preferred)
