Become a Key Player as a Quality Engineer

You will help the team ensure product and process quality for the Value Stream, driving continuous improvement and corrective action across manufacturing and suppliers. You will work onsite with production cells and cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, production, suppliers, and customers) to maintain and improve quality systems. This is an onsite role in Glendale, AZ (1st shift).

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Assess quality performance using statistical and analytical methods and report trends and root causes
  • Develop and implement inspection plans, control plans, PFMEAs, and quality systems/procedures
  • Perform in-house and supplier audits; develop and initiate supplier performance improvement programs
  • Lead failure analysis and corrective action investigations
  • Prepare technical reports, training materials, and conduct quality control training
  • Apply continuous improvement and lean manufacturing techniques to refine products and processes
  • Represent the organization during internal and external audits and ensure compliance with contract/quality requirements
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of related quality engineering experience
  • Experience with statistical analysis and quality/tools (PFMEA, control plans, inspection methods)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with production teams, leadership, customers, and suppliers
  • Experience with corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and training materials
