Job description

JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Leader is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System throughout the manufacturing process. Collaborating closely with quality auditors and assembly line production teams, the Quality Leader will effectively track, identify, communicate, contain, and resolve quality issues as they arise. This role requires working cross-functionally with the production team to ensure seamless integration of quality standards and practices.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Support and adhere to IATF16949 Operating System procedures and requirements.
  • Evaluate visual product concerns and ensure Quality Gate Alignment.
  • Assist with the containment of suspect material.
  • Perform gage studies as needed.
  • Contribute to activities for new product development programs.
  • Promote and implement quality improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify issues and assist in their resolution.
  • Initiate and distribute Quality Alerts.
  • Review and document assembly scrap.
  • Ensure nonconforming material is promptly addressed and dispositioned before the end of the shift.
  • Complete Standardized Work.
  • Additional duties with similar responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Able to read, write and speak English.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
