Job description

Quality Tank Solutions (QTS) is seeking experienced, full-time Estimators to join our teams in Oconomowoc and Marshfield, Wisconsin. The Estimator works closely with our sales team to prepare accurate and competitive estimates, quotations, and technical proposals based on RFQs, blueprints, specifications, and other project documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Sales team to develop accurate and competitive estimates and quotes.
  • Review RFQs, blueprints, drawings, specifications, and related documents to determine project scope and requirements.
  • Prepare accurate and timely estimates based on material, labor, manufacturing, and other applicable costs.
  • Assist with pricing for customer change orders.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other departments to ensure estimates accurately reflect project requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 3+ years of estimating experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability and willingness to maintain high standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is a plus but not required.
