Quality Technician Supervisor

Position Overview:

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all Quality Technicians and Quality Operators in a high-volume solar module manufacturing environment. This role ensures that all quality assurance tasks are completed accurately and on time, driving adherence to industry standards and company quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of Quality Technicians and Quality Operators.
  • Manage scheduling, workload distribution, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure all QA tasks and inspections are completed according to established procedures and standards.
  • Maintain compliance with internal quality systems and external regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular updates to the Quality Manager on team performance, quality metrics, and improvement initiatives.
  • Document and communicate quality findings and corrective actions effectively.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and training of QA team members.
  • Mentor and coach staff to foster continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for QA-related issues.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns promptly.
