As a Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations, delivering excellent customer service, and leading a skilled team of technicians.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service.
  • Manage and mentor a team of service advisors and technicians, providing training and guidance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service department performance, customer satisfaction, and revenue.
  • Schedule and coordinate service appointments, ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of service orders, repair history, and customer interactions.
  • Monitor inventory and order parts to ensure the department is stocked.
  • Collaborate with the sales and parts departments to streamline workflow.
  • Prepare reports on department performance, including sales, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a service management or leadership role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance processes.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
