Job description

Collectors is the leading creator of innovative technology that provides value-added services for collectors worldwide. We grade, authenticate, vault, and sell millions of record-setting collectibles, all while modernizing and digitalizing the process to further our mission of helping collectors pursue their passions. We're always on the lookout for talented people to join our growing team.
Our services span collectible trading cards, autographs, comic books, coins, video games, event tickets, and memorabilia. Our subsidiaries include PSA, PCGS, Beckett, SGC, and Card Ladder.
Since our founding in 1986, we have graded and authenticated millions of items. We employ more than 3000 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana, California and offices in New Jersey, Texas, Florida, Japan, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Canada, Mexico, Germany, and France.
As part of our interview process, we request that candidates have their cameras on during video interviews. This helps foster meaningful conversation and allows us to create an experience that closely resembles our standard working environment. Certain interview steps may take place by phone. For remote roles, and at our discretion, candidates may be asked to participate in an on-site interview as part of the final stages of the process.
We understand there may be occasional circumstances requiring accommodation and are happy to discuss them as needed. Your recruiter will be able to clarify expectations and answer any questions you have.
We're looking for a Quality Program Manager within our Continuous Improvement team who will own the programs that raise quality standards, reduce defect rates, and advance operational excellence across the company. This is a high-impact individual contributor role where you will lead company-wide quality and continuous-improvement initiatives, influence stakeholders across every function, and serve as leadership's trusted, data-backed authority on the state of quality and the trajectory of improvement.
You will define what "good" looks like, measure it rigorously and consistently, diagnose the root causes behind defects, and partner with the teams best positioned to resolve them. Grounded in an operational excellence mindset, you will engineer quality into how the company operates rather than inspecting it after the fact. Your impact will be visible in the trend lines: defect rates declining, standards adopted and sustained, and quality embedded into the organization's day-to-day workflows.
Up to 20% travel is required (including international travel), along with a current and valid passport.
You'll report to the Director, Continuous Improvement and work onsite from our Santa Ana, California office headquarters.
Onsite Requirement:
This role requires you to be onsite in the office 5 days per week.
What You'll Do:
  • Own company-wide quality programs aimed at measurably reducing defect rates and improving quality standards across products and processes
  • Define, instrument, and report on quality metrics (defect rate, escape rate, first-pass yield, rework), and build dashboards that give leadership clear visibility into trends
  • Lead root cause analysis on recurring and high-impact quality issues, and drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) through to resolution
  • Establish, document, and maintain quality standards, processes, and playbooks (Standard Operating Procedures, checklists, acceptance criteria) and drive their adoption
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Customer Relations, Product and Technology, and Operations teams to embed quality practices upstream rather than catching issues late
  • Run continuous-improvement initiatives using structured methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, FMEA)
  • Coordinate quality audits and support compliance with relevant standards
  • Communicate quality risks, progress, and recommendations clearly to both technical teams and executive stakeholders

Who You Are:
Required
  • 7+ years of experience in quality management, quality assurance, or quality-focused program management
  • Hands-on experience with quality methodologies and tools (root cause analysis, CAPA, FMEA, statistical process control, Lean / Six Sigma)
  • Strong data analysis skills and comfort turning raw quality data into metrics, dashboards, and recommendations
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs and influence without direct authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to brief executives
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, a related field, and/or equivalent experience

Preferred
  • ASQ Certification is a plus
  • Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) a plus
  • Experience defining quality programs from the ground up
  • Experience with quality management systems and business intelligence (BI) tools

Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $160,000. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set. This role may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation, please ask your recruiter for details.
Reasons To Join Us:
  • Health Insurance: All full-time employees are eligible to enroll in Medical, Dental, and Vision
  • Additional Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for fertility, commuter, and educational assistance benefits
  • 401(K) Matching Plan: We are proud to offer a competitive 401k matching plan to our employees to support their future financial goals
  • Vacation: All salaried employees are eligible for flexible time-off
  • Holiday Pay: All regular, full-time employees are eligible for ten company paid holidays
  • Employee Discounts: Employees receive discounts on select grading services for approved submissions
  • Flexible Hours: Many of our teams offer flexible schedules with varying shifts and will work with you to accommodate your needs
  • Fun Working Environment: Our team members are invited to participate in celebrations, holiday events, and team building activities
