Job description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager to develop, implement, and manage quality control systems that ensure the consistent production of high-quality products while meeting customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and company objectives. This position will lead and supervise a team of Quality Inspectors and work closely with cross-functional departments to drive continuous improvement, enhance product reliability, and maintain the highest standards of quality performance.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by investigating and resolving quality-related customer concerns and complaints.
  • Supervise and support Quality Inspectors to ensure productivity, technical accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Develop, analyze, and interpret statistical data and product specifications to establish quality standards and reliability expectations.
  • Create, document, implement, and maintain quality control standards, procedures, and objectives.
  • Collaborate with production and plant leadership to maximize product quality while minimizing costs.
  • Develop and implement inspection criteria, testing procedures, and quality assurance processes.
  • Communicate quality philosophies, standards, and expectations throughout the organization.
  • Oversee inspection activities throughout the production cycle to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Utilize quality management tools and methodologies to support analytical and reporting processes.
  • Partner with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of purchased materials and components.
  • Develop and manage environmental testing functions and applications as required.
  • Participate in and lead Continuous Improvement initiatives and cross-functional teams.
  • Design, develop, and implement quality training programs for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
  • Participate in all required company training programs.
  • Work weekends, overtime, early mornings, and emergency call-outs as business needs require.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
ducation & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in quality management, quality assurance, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Experience with performance improvement and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
  • Experience developing and documenting procedures and quality systems.
  • Experience applying quality improvement methods within inspection and manufacturing environments.
