Lakeside Foods is excited to announce an opening for General Manager at our Weston Plant in Oregon a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing plant operations, driving performance, and fostering a culture of excellence and safety.This position has opened due to an internal transfer associated with a planned retirement at another Lakeside Foods plant reflecting our ongoing focus on developing and advancing internal talent.What You?ll DoAs General Manager, you?ll be the cornerstone of our Weston facility?s success. You will:Lead and develop management teams across production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain.Oversee all aspects of plant operations with a focus on efficiency, food safety, and continuous improvement.Ensure strict compliance with company policies, government regulations, and food safety standards.Champion a proactive safety culture focused on both plant safety and employee well-being, including oversight of safety training, audits, and incident prevention.Collaborate with corporate and regional leadership to align operations with strategic goals.Manage budgets and recommend capital improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.Support and enforce programs that maintain Lakeside?s reputation as a high-quality, safe food producer.What We?re Looking ForBachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.7+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations, with progressive leadership roles.5+ years managing cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain.Strong knowledge of plant operations, equipment, and safety protocols.Experience managing warehouse, shipping, and logistics functions.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).Why Weston, Oregon?Nestled in the scenic Blue Mountains of Eastern Oregon, Weston offers a peaceful, small-town atmosphere with easy access to outdoor recreation and regional amenities.
