About Converted Products

Founded in 1993 by Chris Gorenc, Converted Products Inc. began as a slitting and die cutting business in Milwaukee. Through innovation and strong relationships, the company expanded to include sheeting and ultrasonic laminating, tripling in size and relocating to a larger facility five years later. In February 2025, Converted Products was acquired by OXCO, LLC—a Fort Mill, SC-based custom non-woven converter founded the same year by Jeff and Erich Meier, who share Chris' entrepreneurial spirit and customer-first values.

Role Summary

Responsible for investigation and resolution of all nonconformances within the organization including, customer complaints, supplier issues, and internal processes. Responsibility also includes producing and distributing key quality measurements, training quality technicians, and maintaining the ISO Quality Management System.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a champion for change within the department and across Converted Products. Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the accountability areas below.
  • Ensure direct reports are properly utilizing systems, technology, and policies and procedures prescribed by Converted Products. Provide training or corrective action to ensure these obligations are met.
  • Exhibit executive level decision-making, cross-functional teamwork, problem solving, and policy development. Adhere to Converted Products mission, values, standards, policies and procedures. Proactively ensure personal awareness of policies before acting.
  • Develop direct reports and department members and hold them accountable to Converted Products standards. Provide meaningful interaction, coaching, and feedback to team members on a routine basis
  • Initiate corrective action and recommend employment actions, in conjunction with functional leadership and HR when situations warrant

Qualifications

Education:

  • College Degree (4 Year) or equivalent Quality Manager experience

Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience in manufacturing facility
  • Experienced as Management Representative or internal auditor for ISO:9001

  • Computer - proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Mathematical reasoning - perform mathematical and measurement conversions
  • High attention to detail – accuracy in entering data and in communicating information with others; ability to see errors and identify inconsistencies
