Job description

MOLD MAINTENANCE & REPAIR TECHNICIAN

Plastic Design International is a family-owned & operated manufacturing company celebrating our 45th year in business.  We are a plastic injection molding company looking for an experienced Mold Maintenance & Repair Technician with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. 

Duties include:

  • Maintenance of injection molds including disassembly, cleaning, & reassembly.
  • Repairing existing tools
  • Inspect & prep new molds for production. 

You must be able to operate all types of standard manual tool room equipment and be able to hold close tolerances when needed. 

Proficiency in Prototrak CNC, Sinker E.D.M. and a moderate level of computer proficiency are a plus.
SKILLS:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to use basic hand tools
  • A willingness to learn
