Overview:

The individual in this role is expected to support the administration and maintenance of Quality and Food Safety Systems, ensuring agreements with current regulations and Givaudan Global Policies. As well, as support in the administration of Supplier and Customer Quality Programs while delivering real-time-floor corrections, and resolutions to operations.

Core Responsibilities:

Support and execute the maintenance of the local Quality, Food Safety Systems, and pre-requisite programs ensuring alignment with global policies through floor inspection, and program verification. Including but not limited to: Allergen management, Calibration, Pest Prevention, Maintenance Program, Environmental Monitoring, Foreign Material Control, etc.)

Fulfil the document manager role for Site Quality Management System Regulated documents and records (collect and review QMS documentation)

Coordinate with document/ process owners, the maintenance of appropriate local documents including work instructions, procedures, and manuals.

Conduct internal audits in the standards applied for Quality Management System and Food Safety (Such as ISO22000 and HACCP)

Support internal and external audit activities and ensure the implementation of corrective audit actions.

Support the management of internal non-conformances and customer complaints on the site.

Support root cause analysis, as well as the definition and monitoring of action plans.

Coordinate/ Conduct Regular Quality and Food Safety training sessions to enhance food safety awareness and quality capabilities among department and staff

Support in the organization of internal and external events related to Quality and Food Safety.

Support Global and Regional projects for Quality Initiatives.

Develop and implement a Food Safety Culture Program

Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Vocational/further educational Diploma in an appropriate technical field.

Experience with using computer-based Management Systems and applications (e.g. Microsoft Office)

Good understanding of the principles of Quality Management Systems (Including but not limited to: ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, HACCP training, GMP), and continuous improvement. Knowledge of Safety and Hygiene

Detailed oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to schedule tasks, handle multiple assignments, establish priorities and follow up tasks to meet required deadlines with minimal supervision.

Experience:

The individual in this role must be familiar with Microsoft Office operations.

Overall work experience of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience (similar role or within similar industry)

Basic understanding of the principles of HACCP (preferred)

It is value adding if the individual is familiar with Food Safety testing instrumentation, including but not limited to Chemistry Testing for Water, Microbiology and ATP Swabbing, and Allergen Swabbing.
