Job Summary:

The meticulous duties of the Quality Control Technician ensure the safety and quality of our productions. Knowledge of automotive systems, practices and execution are essential to the intricacies of the role. Quality control will coordinate with the team to identify issues and implement solutions. Understanding and willingness to assist with assignments outside of title will be instrumental in the ideal Quality Control Technician.


Responsibilities:

  • Quality control daily reporting
  • Collect & analyze data for causes of issue or identify areas of improvement
  • Monitor production at various stages to ensure uniform performance/quality
  • Inspect inventory for potential discrepancies, hazard or defect
  • Auditing of records to identify trends & purge/replace outdated or unaccredited stock, inventory or certifications
  • Communicate quality metrics with corresponding departments
  • Ability to perform inspections on raw materials, parts and assemblies, and finish products.
  • Knowledge and ability to use inspection tools (calipers, gauges, and micrometers)
  • Have some experience in problem solving and knowledge of Quality Core Tools.
  • Interrupt drawings and engineering specifications.


Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to accommodate tasks outside the scope of title
  • Q.C. experience preferably with recreational vehicles
  • Knowledge of pre-delivery and delivery inspections
  • Willingness to adhere to Noovo’s standard of inspection
  • Stringency in reporting via spreadsheets, logs and communications
  • Knowledge of QMS or quality management systems
  • Experience with cabinetry and manufacturing including electrical
  • Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments
  • Excellent communication and record management skills
  • Time management with the ability to delegate in order of propriety
  • Have basic computer skills - ERP and Quality software, word, excel and powerpoint
  • Able to work overtime at a reasonable request.

Compensation:

  • $20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience.
