Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox: We are seeking a Quality Coordinator to conduct product quality monitoring activities in a large, focused manufacturing environment. The Quality Coordinator will be responsible for routine product monitoring to ensure adherence to specifications and standards, coaching of operations associates on proper quality methods and information, regular audits of plant quality systems, and vendor/supplier quality management. Hourly rate: $37.34.

Onsite. Able to be on shift 12hr- Rotating Swing shifts on a 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. Flexibility to accommodate overtime (days or weekends) or schedule changes due to business needs.

In this role, you will:
  • Adhere to plant policies while keeping safety, quality, and environmental rules and regulations as top priority.
  • Champion the 16 Quality System Elements (QSE) as the plant Quality Management System alongside corporate policies.
  • Monitor and report out key process indicators in Tier 1 daily production meetings, escalated issues as needed.
  • Carry out periodic quality checks throughout shift at the required frequency.
  • Execute cleaning and upkeep of all quality owned instrumentation and equipment.
  • Collection of finished goods production samples, maintenance of the retain sample area and documentation.
  • May Perform incoming raw material inspections.
  • Assists operations in activities such as changeover, line clearance, shut down, and start up to confirm quality standards are met and documented appropriately.
  • Ensure testing and documentation during any plant trials and/or qualifications on shift is adequate.
  • Lauch the Quality Incident Report (QIR) to ensure all relevant details for the non-conformance are adequality captured
  • Follow the Quality Incident Report and Non-conformance reporting structure when Out of Specification incidents occur; including but not limited to:
    • Providing root cause analysis instruction
    • Escalating appropriately and efficiently
  • Manage โ€œon holdโ€ product inventory; including but not limited to,
    • Conducting AQL testing and developing rework plans
    • Manage the Quality Hold Area
  • Conduct daily audits of plant operations and product quality monitoring.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled QSE audits led by the Quality Lead or Manager.
  • Assist with initiating Quality Notifications against defective vendor/supplier material
  • Expand quality capability on shift by facilitating coaching, managing documentation, and keeping proper records.
  • Assist the Quality Manager with creation and/or execution of new, written processes and procedures as it pertains to quality assurance.
What we look for:

Minimum qualifications: 1+ year of manufacturing experience Moderate computer skills with software like Microsoft applications โ€“ Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneDrive, PowerBI etc. Enterprise resource planning tools (ERP) โ€“ SAP, Oracle, etc. Knowledgeable with daily audits of plant operations and product quality monitoring Knowledgeable with Quality Incident Report (QIR) Capable of performing raw material inspections Familiar with manufacturing (or similar) plant policies while keeping safety, quality, and environmental rules and regulations as top priority Excellent written and verbal communication skills Effective interpersonal skills to interact appropriately with all members of plant personnel Capable of effectively managing time and assigning priority to work Able to be on shift 12hr- Rotating Swing shift, flexibility to accommodate overtime (days or weekends) or schedule changes due to business needs Ability to travel as required for training and development

Preferred qualifications:

5+ years of manufacturing experience 1+ years of quality assurance experience An Associates/Technical degree in Data Analytics/Science, Quality Management, or another comparable field Prior work experience- Champion the 16 Quality System Elements (QSE) as the plant Quality Management System alongside corporate policies.
