Requirements

As an enhancements crew leader, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide quality landscaping installation and enhancement services.
  • Ensuring the crew works in a safe environment, efficiently, and as punctually as possible
  • Communicates goals with the crew members
  • Directly develop and train crew members
  • Managing large-scale soft and hardscaping installation projects under the direction of the operations manager
  • Actively assist crew with the installation of trees, shrubs, perennials, the annual prunings, and the removal of plants, shrubs, ground cover, etc.
  • Knowledge of hardscaping installation practices, such as pavers and retaining walls
  • Can read landscaping blueprints
  • Can operate large and small engine machinery
  • Can conduct job site inspections
  • Can utilize landscaping software such as Aspire
  • Maintain a record of job expenses and materials
  • Ensures the trailers, job sites, vehicles, and office are clean and organized

You may be a good fit if you are:

  • At least eighteen (18) years and older
  • Capable of working in a team environment
  • Able to motivate fellow crew members
  • Capable of exercising leadership capabilities
  • 2+ years of experience managing multiple landscape installations for commercial customers.
  • Knowledge of horticultural and Landscape Installation
  • Knowledge of construction site policies and procedures
  • Previous hardscape experience and ICPI certification would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrates dependability; consistently at work and on time, responds to management direction, and commits to the required hours for job completion that will vary based on weather/season.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to solve conflicts while keeping emotions under control
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English; bilingual in Spanish, very valuable, but not required.
