Job description

TMC is seeking a Quality Inspector for a Packaging/Kitting facility in NW Houston to support activities in Production.
  • 1st shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Must be able to work overtime which may include extended hours or weekends
Responsibilities:
  • Work closelynwith the inventory team and help to support audits
  • Conducting audits to determine the quality of materials and finished products
  • Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
  • Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations
  • Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects
  • Identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency
  • Participate in routine visual inspections
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:
  • Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields
  • Ability to take direction
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong math skills and comfortable with counting and verifying supplier lot material.
  • Flexible to work overtime to include 10-12-hour shift and weekends when needed
