Job description

As a Quality Control Technician, you will uphold the safety of our company and supervise the production process to guarantee that all our products meet quality expectations. Perform regular product evaluations, record inspection results, and recommend improvements to the production process. Quality control inspectors examine products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications. Looking to fill 2nd & 3rd shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Read blueprints and specifications.

· Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.

· Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.

· Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.

· Measure products with calipers, gauges, CMM or micrometers, and all other measuring equipment

· Accept or reject finished items.

· Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.

· Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products.

· Report inspection and test data

· Resolve quality related issues in a timely manner

Performs calibration of gauges and maintains calibration records

Learns CMM and other measuring equipment programming

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as quality inspector or relevant role
  • A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
  • Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems
  • Experience with calipers, gauges, CMM and micrometers
  • Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
  • Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000, AS9100 etc.)
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
