SUMMARY
Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ability to reviews Integra and ensures the job matches the customer specifications.
  • Ability to reviews Submittal drawing(s) to ensure the product is laid out according to the drawing.
  • Ability to reviews the legend to ensure the correct model and voltage of compressors are documented and the circuit order and valve sizes are correct.
  • Ability to checks piping on racks and/or house assemblies according to the work instruction Inspecting Circuit Piping
  • Ability to record any major findings from the piping inspection on the Quality Assurance Inspection Form
  • Ability to perform leak checking and vacuum testing for parallel assembly units only according to the Trace Gas Leak Testing Procedure and the Vacuum Dehydration Procedure
  • Ability to verify if the vacuum testing by the manufacturing areas has met production standards
  • Interprets electrical/mechanical engineering drawings, schematic diagrams and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards
  • Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards
  • Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability
  • Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics
  • Prepares graphs or charts of data or enters data into computer for analysis
  • Integra. (Business System). Uploads Job specific data, Photos and results into Integra and retrieves data and records when required for review. Perform quality transactions
  • Ability to perform Final Walk of any unit assemblies to ensure all major findings have been corrected according to the Final Walk Instruction
