What You'll Do
  • Inspect manufactured parts and products to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
  • Perform in-process and final inspections
  • Use precision measuring equipment including:
    • Calipers
    • Micrometers
    • Gauges
    • CMM equipment
  • Create and document rework orders
  • Maintain inspection records and quality documentation
  • Assist production, machining, and material handling teams as needed
  • Identify and recommend the best inspection methods for various products
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Research and help procure inspection equipment when needed

Required Skills
  • Experience as a Quality Inspector or Quality Assurance Inspector in manufacturing
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools
  • Understanding of quality control processes and inspection techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Quality Inspection or Quality Assurance experience
  • Experience operating a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)

  • Technical degree or machine tool education is a plus
  • Leadership or team lead experience is a bonus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
