Maintenance Attendant: The Property Quality Hero!


Your Challenge: Keep Our Properties Shining and Running Smoothly!


Ready to be the essential maintenance expert who keeps our extended stay hotels in top condition? Join Sandpiper Hospitality (SH), one of the fastest-growing companies in the extended stay market, as our next Maintenance Attendant!

This is a critical, hands-on role where you are directly responsible for the general and preventive maintenance of the facility, both inside and out. Your attention to detail ensures a flawless experience for our guests and supports our "We Are Inspired – Service" value every day. You are the frontline problem-solver who keeps our properties operating smoothly!



Your Operational Duties


  • Essential Light & Preventive Maintenance: Perform all light and preventive maintenance of the facility interior and exterior, ensuring compliance with Value Place Brand Standards.

    • Plumbing & Electrical: Complete light plumbing (e.g., toilet repair, snaking, faucet repair) and light electrical tasks (e.g., changing an outlet or wall switch).

    • Studio Maintenance: Execute Studio Preventive Maintenance Programs (painting, caulking, janitorial work), including room preparation after a guest moves out, and identifying pest issues.

    • Grounds & Common Areas: Maintain and clean public spaces, including parking lot upkeep, and execute the Quarterly Preventative Maintenance Program.

  • Property Support & Cross-Training: Perform Laundry Duties (sorting, washing, and folding linen/terry, cleaning facilities). Cross-train and provide backup coverage for the duties of the Move-Out, Stay-Over, and Flex Attendants as needed.

  • Emergency Response: Be On-Call as needed. When responding to emergencies, the MA will clock in/out, and all time is considered working time.

  • Adherence to Standards: Perform all duties as assigned by supervision.
