The Hilton Garden Inn of Morgantown, WV is conveniently located in the Suncrest Towne Centre just steps from shopping and dining. It is also just minutes away from Ruby Memorial Hospital, West Virginia University, Mountaineer Field and the WVU Coliseum. Come join our fantastic team!
Calling All Culinary Rockstars!
Do you whip up magic in the kitchen? We're on the hunt for a Cook who's ready to slice, dice, and spice their way to deliciousness! You'll be serving up mouthwatering meals that meet our quality standards, keeping things clean and safe, and teaming up to make every guest leave with a smile (and a full belly). If you're all about flavor, fun, and food that makes people say "WOW," we want to hear from you!
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
What You'll Be Doing: As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe sanitary work environment and responsible for helping achieve ongoing guest satisfaction and team goals.
  • Prep food items ahead of time as requested, making sure not to prepare more than estimated needs.
  • Return all food items not used on the next shift to designated storage areas, being sure to cover/date all perishables.
  • Assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems; control food waste, loss, and usage per standards.
  • Date all food containers and rotate as per the food standards, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures.
  • Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull, and line set up. Note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages.
  • Receive and unpack items as they arrive from food vendors. Date all items as they arrive and pack them according to department standards.

What We're Looking For:
  • 18+ years old, High level of professionalism, High school diploma/GED preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication and organization skills.
  • Must be available to work weekend shifts as part of the regular schedule.
  • Reliable transportation with valid drivers license required.
  • Minimum of Two (2) years restaurant or kitchen experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
