Job description

Fairfield Inn - Rochester Hills is looking for reliable, hardworking team members who take pride in creating clean and comfortable spaces for our guests. As a Housekeeper / Room Attendant, you will play an important role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring guest rooms and hotel facilities meet the high standards our guests expect.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, paying attention to detail, and being part of a team that values hospitality, quality, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
  • Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to Fairfield by Marriott and hotel standards
  • Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and guest amenities
  • Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms
  • Ensure all guest rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for arrival
  • Clean and maintain hallways, public areas, and other assigned spaces throughout the hotel
  • Restock housekeeping carts, linen rooms, and supply closets
  • Assist with laundry operations as needed
  • Respond to guest requests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
  • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and repair needs to management
  • Report and properly handle all lost and found items according to hotel procedures
  • Follow all hotel safety, cleanliness, and sanitation guidelines
  • Work cooperatively with housekeeping team members and other hotel departments to provide an outstanding guest experience
Qualifications
  • Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or hotel experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout a shift
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push housekeeping carts
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as business levels require
