Position Overview:
The Quality Analyst supports Spirit's AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) through documentation control, nonconformance management, and organizational quality assurance activities. This position ensures compliance with aerospace and defense industry standards, including MIL-STD specifications, and maintains quality management processes for electronic component distribution operations and business operations.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Process and investigate nonconforming material reports and customer complaints and work to closure
  • Maintain quality management system documentation and records
  • Conduct internal audits of AS9100 processes and procedures
  • Track and analyze quality performance metrics and KPIs
  • Support corrective and preventive action processes
  • Maintain document control system and revision processes
  • Prepare quality reports and metrics for management review
  • Support external audits and certification activities
  • Monitor supplier quality performance data
  • Coordinate quality training and awareness programs
  • Review and process supplier corrective actions per Eight Disciplines (8D) problem solving methodology
  • Maintain calibration records and schedules
  • Support risk management activities
  • Participate in management review meetings
  • Assist with quality improvement initiatives

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in AS9100 quality management systems
  • Associate's degree in quality, business, supply chain management, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality management requirements and standards
  • Experience with document control and quality management software
  • Strong understanding of corrective action processes
  • Familiar with problem solving methodologies demonstrating the ability to analyze and bring problems to closure
  • Internal auditor certification preferred
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Experience with quality metrics and KPIs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with risk-based thinking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to ITAR/EAR requirements
