Job Summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Wilmington is seeking an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role assists in overseeing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet Hilton brand cleanliness and service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support housekeeping staff during daily operations
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces for cleanliness and quality standards
  • Assign daily tasks and monitor staff productivity
  • Train new housekeeping team members on Hilton standards and procedures
  • Ensure timely room turnover and coordinate with Front Desk on room status updates
  • Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and linens
  • Address guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns promptly
  • Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
  • Assist Executive Housekeeper with scheduling and departmental organization

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping or hotel supervisory experience preferred
  • Hilton brand experience is a plus
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs during shifts
