Responsibilities
  • Interface as the Program Quality Engineering Lead for Global Patriot
  • Drive Quality tasks, participate in design reviews, qualification planning, and flight test walk ups
  • Manage a team of Patriot Quality Engineers
  • Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) in accordance with AS9145 and NPI
  • Use technical expertise to review Engineering work products and identify defects
  • Participate in technical peer reviews of design releases and test plans
  • Evaluate technical requirements and manufacturing trade-offs to assess risks
  • Lead root cause initiatives and implement corrective actions
  • Support new pursuits through proposal development
Requirements
  • Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience developing and managing teams
  • Experience in hardware design, reliability, and manufacturability assessments
  • Experience in leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective / preventive actions
  • Past work history implementing quality strategies
  • Experience analyzing quality and other metrics to direct and/or achieve measurable results.
