Job description

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking an Engineering Manager. This role will oversee the design and implementation of products into manufacturing, with a focus on tooling, automation, and continuous process improvement. The manager will play a key leadership role in ensuring product launches and manufacturing operations are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

In this role, you will

  • Manage tooling and automation departments, including associated projects
  • Ensure tooling is designed, manufactured, and implemented on schedule and within budget
  • Oversee 1st piece approvals and process capability studies
  • Drive continuous improvement and problem-solving across manufacturing processes
  • Evaluate potential suppliers and remain current on advanced materials and processing technologies
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, ensuring alignment with quality and compliance standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of automotive engineering management experience (10+ total engineering years preferred)
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach on the plant floor
  • Broad expertise in tooling design/maintenance, fixtures, and automation equipment
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
