Job Summary
Belcan is seeking a Program Quality Engineer (PQE) to support our customer in Windsor, CT. This person will request, analyze, and report on open investigations related to LME program. This will include disposition of Collins investigations as well as working with PW.
Hybrid work arrangement (3 days on-site support with some remote flexibility). Minimal to no travel is expected.
Key Responsibilities
*Responsible for coordination of customer quality interfacing; including customer reviews, audits and senior level presentations.
*Facilitate Preventative & Corrective actions concurrently with the internal quality organizations (Design, Operations, and Supply Chain)
*Coordinate/manage customer issues in a timely and professional manner to achieve business unit goals
*Facilitate resolving critical issues/situations (including Quality Clinic activity via 8D methodology for product failures) to ensure timely turnaround time
*Use customer and internal metrics to create, lead and implement improvements for customer satisfaction.
*Clearly communicate improvement plans and progress to internal stakeholders and customers.
*Collaborate with sites and teams to develop and implement improvements using various continuous improvement tools
*Champion and execute quality initiatives including ZDP and PPAP implementation
Core Qualifications
*Bachelor's degree in Engineering
*Minimum of two years in Quality Engineering or Operations
*Proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems.
*Experience with Microsoft Excel, i.e. v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.
*Must be a U.S. Citizen due to the nature of the work
*Ability to work on-site in Windsor Locks, CT
