Quality Control Engineer (Bilingual Korean required)\n\nTimpl has partnered with a global EV battery manufacturing company and they're\nlooking for Quality Control Engineer.\n \n\nSummary\n\nBattery Quality is divided with two Sections, which are Quality Control (QC) and\nQuality Assurance (QA). Quality Control (QC) is charge of internal Quality (From\nraw material to before shipment). Quality Assurance is charge of Quality\nPlanning (QP) and Customer Satisfaction.\n\n \n\n1.IQC (Incoming Quality Control) Engineer\n\nIQC engineer in Quality Control (QC) is responsible for incoming inspections of\nraw materials used in the EV battery production process.

This position will need\nto interact with wide range of stakeholders, including other teams, customers\nand vendors to solve complex and/or urgent problems regarding the raw material\nquality by identifying and evaluating alternatives. This Position also\nresponsible for managing Inspection specifications and SIP (Standard of\nInspection process) documents.\n\n \n\nKey Areas of Responsibility:\n\nIncoming Inspections\n\n Monitor and continuously improve the incoming inspection results (through SPC\n control)\n Review and suggest a revision (if needed) of incoming inspection standards\n Conduct inspection and cause analysis regarding the raw material quality\n non-conformity issues\n Plan the corrective action for the non-conformity issues and verify the\n effectiveness of the action\n Publish quality report regarding incoming non-conformity issue\n Control of nonconforming product (marks identifier label, demand right of\n indemnity or ship back, and request rework)\n Review and verify the supplier-suggested solutions and corrective action\n plans for the raw material quality non-conforming issues\n\n \n\nEquipment Management\n\n Regularly check and monitor the inspection equipment and conduct a\n calibration based on the equipment management standards\n Place an order for the purchase of new inspection equipment\n Responsible for the repair and maintenance of the inspection equipment\n\n \n\nQuality Budget Management\n\n Manage the operation/investment budgets regarding IQC\n\n \n\nSupplier Audit (if HQ need to support)\n\n Conduct a supplier quality/process audit\n * Report the audit result\n\n \n\nOther tasks as necessary to meet the organization's objectives\n\n \n\n2.PQC/OPC(Process/Outcoming) Engineer\n\nPQC/OQC engineer in Quality Control (QC) is responsible for process quality\ninspection management and outgoing inspection of semi-finished products and\nfinished products. This position will need to interact with wide range of\nstakeholders, including other teams, customers and vendors to solve complex\nand/or urgent problems regarding the process and outgoing quality by identifying\nand evaluating alternatives.

This position is also responsible for managing\nQuality issues, validating corrective actions, and preventing defects from\nflowing through to subsequent\n\nprocesses or customers.\n\n \n\nKey Areas of Responsibility:\n\nProcess Quality Control\n\n Select and develop measuring instruments (specification, verification)\n Manage inspector's ability (including education)\n Develop and review/revise (if needed) the inspection methods\n Identify the quality issue regarding production process\n Set up and lead the meetings with relevant departments including production\n and process to identify the cause of non-conformity and to come up with the\n corrective actions\n Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions for the process quality issues\n Monitor and continuously improve the Process inspection results (through SPC\n control)\n Set up and review/revise (if needed) the appearance\n requirements/specifications for the semi-finished product in the production\n process\n Continuously lead process improvement for preventing defects from flowing\n through to subsequent process\n\n \n\nOutgoing Inspections\n\n Plan the outgoing inspection plan\n Conduct the outgoing inspection and publish the grade certificate\n Set up and review/revise (if needed) the appearance\n requirements/specifications for the finished products\n Review and suggest a revision (if needed) of outgoing inspection standards\n Conduct inspection and cause analysis regarding the outgoing quality\n non-conformity issues\n Plan the corrective action for the non-conformity issues and verify the\n effectiveness of the action\n Continuously lead process improvement for preventing defects from flowing\n through to customer\n\n \n\n4M Change Management (if needed)\n\n Lead to set up evaluation criteria regarding 4M change with relevant\n departments\n Receive the 4M change application regarding the part, process, and product\n Organize and lead the CRB (Change Review Board) committee with relevant\n departments\n Verify the TR (Technical Review)\n Co-work with CS or HQ to get approval from customer\n Distribute the ECN (Engineer Change Notice)\n\n \n\nIn-line Product Quality Inspection Monitoring\n\n Monitor the result of process patrol inspection results\n Monitor the result of cell disassembly inspection\n Monitor the outgoing inspection results by each Lot unit\n\n \n\nNew Production Line/Equipment Certification Management\n\n Set up criteria for the new line/equipment certification\n Receive the new line/equipment certification application\n Organize and lead the certification evaluation committee with relevant\n departments\n\n \n\nProcess Inspection Instrument Management\n\n Regularly check and monitor the process inspection instrument and conduct a\n calibration based on the instrument management standards\n Place an order for the purchase of new inspection instrument\n Responsible for the repair and maintenance of the inspection instrument\n\n \n\nQuality Budget Management\n\n Manage the operation/investment budgets regarding PQC/OQC\n\n \n\nProduction Issue Monitoring\n\n Check field issue improvement progress\n Monitor non-conforming product and production problems\n Find and improve the vulnerability according to results of ORT (On- going\n Reliability Test)\n\n \n\nGate Audit Management\n\n Conduct the pre-audit check for the items of gate audit\n Review the mandatory documents for the PLM registration\n Prepare and support the gate audit\n\n \n\nQuality System Management (IT System)\n\n Set up evaluation systems of BQMS (Battery Quality Management System) and\n maintain it in real time BQMS\n Establish test standards by item, register revised versions, and analyze\n measurement system periodically\n\n \n\nOther tasks as necessary to meet the organization's objectives\n\n \n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nEducation: Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or chemistry, material\nengineering, industrial engineering, electrical or electronic engineering,\nmechanical engineering or equivalent\n\n \n\nExperiences: 3+ years Quality Control experience in high-volume manufacturing,\npreferably within the battery or related industry\n\n \n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n Certificate which is related with ISO 9001, IATF16949 (eg.
