Quality Engeineer
Minimum 5 Years experience in a Quality Engineering role
Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located near Kansas City, MO. The ideal candidates should have a strong background quality and manufacturing, specifically in developing and maintaining quality systems.
Requirements of the Quality Engineer
  • 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor s degree, 6 years with a Master s, or 3 years with a PhD (or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA
  • Hands-on experience with QMS/QOS implementation, execution, or improvement
  • Experience with quality data analysis, reporting, and metrics
  • Exposure to PLM, MES, and ERP systems preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong documentation and process development skills
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions and support corrective/preventive actions
  • Experience supporting audits (ISO, IATF, VDA); certification a plus
  • Passion for quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence

Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer
  • Act as a subject matter expert for QMS, QOS, and PMT deployment and sustainment
