The Quality Engineer II support the key fundamentals of manufacturing; Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost Reduction initiatives through process development and process improvement projects. Projects are driven by reduction to cost of poor quality, process/product improvement, operations capital investment plan, overall ROI, product development initiatives and the operations business plan.


  • Serve as the primary resource in the implementation and management of quality management system processes including, ISO & CE certifications and standard operating procedures.
  • Support engineering efforts to analyze, identify, and resolve production line problems in order to meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Serve as a resource to internal departments in order to resolve issues related to incoming parts and develop corrective actions.
  • Organize and schedule quality audits, develop and manage supporting documentation and communicate results.
  • Observe continuous improvement testing efforts and coordinate root cause analysis of product failures.
  • Support Research and Development efforts to correct any issues with current products.
  • Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams.
  • Develop strategies to reduce instances of field service calls.
  • Research measurement technology.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
  • Demonstrated, strong written and oral communication skills required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Three years project management experience required
  • Three years process development/process improvement experience required
  • Three years experience working with continuous improvement methodologies required
  • Six Sigma certification/experience is a plus

Starting at $82,000/yr, based on experience
