Job Title
Manufacturing Quality Engineer
Overview / Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to apply engineering principles and analytical techniques to establish, maintain, and continuously improve manufacturing processes and products. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams including production team members, supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel to support process compliance, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support compliance with quality operating systems and quality process requirements.
  • Update and maintain process control documentation and process risk assessment documentation.
  • Maintain engineering and quality-related documentation and records.
  • Support department process updates and documentation requirements.
  • Assist with measurement system compliance activities and quality documentation management.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of process control plans and quality-related observations.
  • Provide summaries and follow-up actions related to performance improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Support change management activities and associated documentation updates.
  • Maintain quality health metrics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with process engineering teams to develop and implement corrective actions and improvement plans.
  • Coach and support both salaried and hourly team members on quality and process-related requirements.
  • Work with multiple departments to ensure adherence to plant quality guidelines and established processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using innovative solutions and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, leaders, business partners, and customers.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Manufacturing or Quality.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Understanding of quality assurance concepts and standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong technical and professional skills with the ability to ensure process compliance.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with Microsoft applications.
  • Manufacturing experience.
