Position Overview:

  • As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in developing, documenting, and optimizing manufacturing processes that improve quality, productivity, and efficiency. You'll help launch new products, support production teams, investigate technical issues, and implement process improvements that drive long-term operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing Process Development

  • Support the development and launch of new manufacturing processes

  • Assist with new product introductions and production readiness

  • Develop and improve manufacturing methods, tooling, and gaging processes

  • Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies

  • Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility

  • Reduce scrap and improve manufacturing performance

  • Optimize methods, materials, machines, and manpower

Quality & Problem Solving:

  • Participate in PFMEA development and process risk assessments

  • Lead or participate in corrective actions and 8D problem-solving activities

  • Investigate production issues and implement long-term corrective solutions

  • Support daily production troubleshooting and technical problem resolution

  • Review internal quality issues and assist with root cause analysis

Documentation & Training:

  • Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures

  • Develop training materials for manufacturing processes

  • Train production employees on equipment operation and process requirements

  • Support safe and efficient equipment operation

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Customers, and Suppliers

  • Participate in customer meetings as needed

  • Evaluate new suppliers, manufacturing technologies, and production methods

  • Collaborate with engineering teams across multiple company locations

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Engineering or a related technical field (Required)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline (Preferred)

  • Previous manufacturing or process engineering experience preferred

  • Experience supporting production environments is highly desirable

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
