You will be the Quality Engineer for the Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems for material processing.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and processes meet the highest standards of precision, reliability, and compliance.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Develop, modify, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to establish and enforce quality standards.
Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment.
Conduct quality-assurance tests and perform statistical analysis to identify non-conforming products.
Audit quality systems for deficiencies and implement corrective actions that meet reliability standards.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline with 2 years of professional experience, a related Master's degree, or equivalent combined education/experience.
Practices using causal analysis tools to drive
corrective and preventive actions.
Willingness/ability to travel to support program issues/needs as they arise.
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and support
engineering activities related to special process
surveys and supplier issues.
Ability to pass visual acuity and color perception exam.
Ability to obtain a clearance.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge and understanding of electrical and mechanical blueprint reading, critical design attributes and auditing/surveying capabilities.
Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.
ASQ CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) and / or CQIA (Certified Quality Improvement Associate).
SAP Application Experience.
IPC/J-STD, GD&T familiarity.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Strong communication (both oral and written) will be necessary to support the assignment.
Be able to effectively communicate with
Customer, Program team and other functional
departments.
First Article Inspection (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 experience.
Special Process Engineering Experience.
Strong problem solving skills, corrective action and causal analysis techniques.
