Responsibilities
O&M Quality Engineer will support the implementation and management of the Quality Control (QC) and Quality Management Systems (QMS) for maintenance operations across multiple technical systems (HVAC, UMCS, SCADA, Electrical, Life Safety, and other ICS). Working under the guidance of senior quality staff, this role helps ensure service quality, process compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in maintaining the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring accurate equipment records, workflows, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Support audits to ensure asset and location data match CMMS entries.
  • Review technician service orders for completeness and accuracy.
  • Help implement and monitor workmanship standards for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Assist in maintaining current documentation (SOPs, methods of operation, process workflows).
  • Help coordinate training records and certifications for maintenance personnel.
  • Participate in storeroom inventory audits and support integrity of parts management.
  • Track and report on basic performance metrics (e.g., response times, work order completion rates).
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action efforts under senior guidance.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders on quality-related issues.
  • Assist with the development and upkeep of site-specific quality plans.
  • Help gather customer feedback through satisfaction surveys and support follow-up actions.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of project QMS in compliance with ISO 9001 and CMMI standards.

Qualifications
  • 0 + years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CMMS tools (experience with Maximo, Infor, or similar a plus).
