Quality Control Technician
2nd Shift 3:30pm to 12am M-F
Pay: $18-20.00 DOE
Hamilton Connections has an immediate Quality Control Technician position available in Middletown for local Food Processing Company
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
โ€ข Assist daily pre-operational sanitation inspections. Report all deficiencies to a food safety specialist.
โ€ข Assist with setting up of sanitizers, spread Quaternary powder, and roll out employee frocks.
โ€ข Perform pre-operational quality control checks and calibrations (metal detections, oxygen levels, scales, soaps and sanitizers).
โ€ข Hourly perform quality control checks of all production stations and packaging lines and document.
โ€ข Perform food safety checks a minimum of three times a day - metal detection, sanitizers, and detergents.
โ€ข Immediately report problems or deficiencies in quality or related processes to QA leader.
โ€ข Assist in the inspection of production workers to make sure USDA, FDA, HACCP, and GMP guidelines are being followed on the production floor.
โ€ข Gather samples of processed products and perform pH and product quality testing, logging results into the data base and quality control forms.
โ€ข Gather, log and store daily production retention samples.
โ€ข Perform allergen control validation and documentation as needed during product changeovers.
โ€ข Actively participate in all food safety and quality control meetings and projects.
โ€ข Perform all tasks in a safe manner. Report all safety hazards to management so that corrective action can be taken immediately.
โ€ข Good attendance and reporting to work on-time is required to do this job satisfactorily.
