Job description

Entry- Level Quality Control Inspector (Manufacturing – Rubber Products)
Portland, CT
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
$20–$22/hour (Depending on Experience)

We are currently assisting a manufacturing client in Portland, CT with hiring a Quality Control Inspector to support daily inspection activities and ensure product quality standards are consistently met. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on quality inspection experience who enjoys working independently in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections on in-process and finished products
  • Use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Verify product compliance to prints and specifications (basic blueprint reading)
  • Accurately complete inspection paperwork, logs, and quality documentation
  • Enter inspection data into Excel or internal quality systems
  • Communicate quality issues clearly with production and leadership teams

Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Hands-on experience with quality control or inspection
  • Ability to read basic blueprints and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently
