Liquid Industrial Coatings QC Technician Full Time (Elgin, IL- First shift) Our client, a specialized Industrial Coatings Manufacturing Company located in Elgin, is seeking a full time (QC) Quality Control Technician to for their growing organization. Direct Hire, Full Time Monday-Friday (7:00am-4:00pm) (First Shift) Work location: Elgin, IL Job Responsibilities Perform lab project bench work. Provide laboratory quality control testing to support manufacturing operations including for incoming raw materials and finished goods.

Perform quality testing in support of our customer’s production operations. Determine proper adjustments needed to production batches to be approved. Write Technical Service Reports.

Education & Experience background. Science degree (Chemistry, Biology) 1(+) year of QC experience in an industrial chemical industry. New Graduate in scientific field (Chemistry, biology) with Zero years of relevant experience.

Candidate with no degree but has 1(+) year of QC experience for an industrial paint company. The interviewing process will require that all candidates complete a company required questionnaire. Successful candidate will be required to sign a non-compete agreement as part of the onboarding process.

Preferred Experience Relevant industry experience (1-4) years in industrial quality control as a technician in liquid chemistry (wet lab) and/or batch-making for an industrial paint company. Familiarity with ISO 9001 is also preferred. Candidates will need to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
