As an Assistant Manager, you’ll be expected to:

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and quality across the restaurant.
  • Training & Development: Support the development of your team through hands-on training and ongoing coaching.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure every guest has a positive experience, from greeting them at the door to thanking them as they leave.
  • Staff Management: Supervise, schedule, and develop the team, ensuring they’re meeting performance and guest service standards.
  • Quality Control: Maintain Zaxby’s high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Inventory & Cost Management: Oversee inventory, manage food costs, and monitor labor expenses.
  • Financial Accuracy: Ensure accurate cash handling, including balancing cash drawers and credit card transactions.
  • Facility Maintenance: Keep the restaurant clean and welcoming, inside and out. Ensure all equipment is in good working order.
Requirements:
  • Age: Must be 18 years or older.
  • Experience: Restaurant management experience preferred, but a great attitude and willingness to learn is just as important!
  • Availability: Flexible schedule required; night and weekend shifts are part of the role.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively and inspire others to deliver exceptional results.
  • Physical Requirements: You should be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs. You’ll also be standing, walking, and using your hands frequently during your shift.
