Job Title:Quality Control Coordinator


Job Summary

IKO Industries Ltd. is a global leader in the manufacturing of roofing and building materials. We are currently seeking a Quality Control Coordinator to join our team at our granule manufacturing facility. This roleis responsible forensuring that all granule products meet internal specifications and customer requirements. The Quality Control Coordinator partners with Production, Maintenance, and Shipping teams to support continuous improvement,maintaincompliance with the plant Quality Management System,and uphold a culture of safety and operational excellence.


Job Responsibilities

  • Perform sampling and laboratory testing of roofing granules (color, coating, crush strength, particle size).

  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with product specifications and customer requirements.

  • Maintainaccuraterecords of test results, inspections, and quality documentation.

  • Investigate quality issues andassistwith root cause analysis and corrective actions.

  • Support plant audits and ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.

  • Partner with Production to ensure finished products meet quality and performance expectations.

  • Assistin developing andmaintainingSOPs, work instructions, and quality standards.

  • Track and report quality metrics including defects, rework, and process variation.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma.

  • Provide training to plant personnel on quality standards and testing procedures.


Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor'sdegree is a plus; relevant work experience will be considered.

  • 2-5 years of quality or manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of quality control systems and laboratory testing methods.

  • Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment preferred.

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

  • Strong communicationand problem-solving skills.
