The Senior Account Manager is responsible for providing leadership to the DCL account management team while directly managing multiple successful client relationships.  The Senior Account Manager takes on the most complex business relationships while fielding all the related details, including setting up new items in our software system, statements of work, project plans, and product/promotion launches. You will closely align with the Client Service Managers with the day-to-day demands of client support.

The Quality Control Clerk under moderate supervision helps support the QC leadership team by maintaining records, inspecting products and ensuring quality standards are met in compliance with DCL’s customer specific needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with site operations leadership in implementation of Quality Control process and procedures as defined in DCL’s Quality Manual and in support departmental QC requirements for distribution, production, receiving, inventory control, and client services.
  • Review and report any potential quality issues.  
  • Responsible for QC checks on Work Order and/or CRT prepared by Client Services, including posting work instructions, BOM check, label spec and Work Order/CRT release.
  • Determine acceptance, rejection or rework requirements. 
  • Ensure inspection procedures are adequate for the finished product to meet DCL and Customer quality requirements.
  • Responsible for QC checks on distribution shipping processes including the creation of retail routing summaries for specific Customer Trade Partner orders.
  • Inspect in-process and/or finished production assemblies or subassemblies for conformance to QA standards and specifications.
  • Check materials and kits
  • Record all issues on QCD form and stop the line when necessary
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
  • Perform other job responsibilities, as necessary and/or assigned.

SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Computer Literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Programs is required.
  • Must be able to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.
  • Must be able to work in a warehouse environment where temperature is affected by weather conditions.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time and have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Bilingual (Fluent in Spanish) is preferred.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 2 years of QC inspection or QA auditor experience, preferably in a 3PL or fulfillment environment is preferred.  
  • Knowledge of WMS Systems/Database is a plus.  
  • JD Edwards (One World) experiences a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
