As a Quality Control Technician (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday), you will have a strong customer focus and possess a strong working knowledge of wet chemistry techniques and instrumentation skills. This exciting role is responsible for conducting analytical testing, developing new test methods, and interpreting test results.
What You'll Do:
  • Independently manage the analysis of samples and data ensuring each sample comes off within its allotted lead time
  • Operate and maintain ICP, HPLC, GC/MS and various lab instrumentation using accepted GLP and GMP procedures. Work with service engineers to perform routine maintenance to minimize instrument down time
  • Evaluate new test methods to bring to on site and routinely review current methods and suggest any improvements
  • Participate in Formal Root Cause Analysis and implement Corrective Actions
  • Effectively communicate, both verbally and written, lab data and results to other departments
  • Work in interdepartmental teams and with affiliate sites

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's or Higher education in a Technical Degree with a strong Analytical Chemistry background
  • 5-years of experience working in a high throughput quality control lab
  • A strong background in analytical instrumentation and analysis including, but not limited to, GC-MS, LC-MS, and ICP
  • Prior experiencing working in a third-party testing lab strongly preferred
  • Experiencing managing lab projects and working with a small to mid-size teams
