We are currently looking for an Electrical QA/QC Manager to join our team!

Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Manage and oversee all onsite Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific QA/QC plans, procedures, inspection protocols, and documentation in accordance with project requirements.

  • Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, approved product data, and other project documentation to ensure electrical installations meet contractual and quality requirements.

  • Perform routine site audits, inspections, and quality walks to verify electrical installations are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and company quality standards.

  • Identify quality deficiencies, document non-conforming work, and coordinate corrective actions with project management, field leadership, and trade partners.

  • Manage QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, checklists, testing records, deficiency logs, and other required project quality records.

  • Evaluate technical documents including shop drawings, material test reports, inspection reports, and equipment documentation for accuracy and compliance.

  • Track and verify delivered electrical equipment and materials to ensure they match approved submittals, specifications, and project requirements.

  • Coordinate required testing and inspections, including pre-test walk-downs, equipment inspections, system testing, and verification activities.

  • Work closely with the General Contractor, GC Quality Manager, Project Manager, Superintendent, Foremen, commissioning teams, and other project stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues.

  • Monitor installation progress and proactively identify potential quality concerns before they impact project schedule, testing, commissioning, or turnover.

  • Manage punch list and deficiency resolution activities to ensure items are properly documented, corrected, verified, and closed.

  • Support project turnover and closeout activities by ensuring required QA/QC documentation, inspection records, testing documentation, and quality packages are complete and accurate.

  • Participate in project meetings and communicate quality expectations, trends, deficiencies, corrective actions, and outstanding items to project leadership.

  • Provide guidance and training to field personnel regarding project quality requirements, installation standards, inspection processes, and documentation expectations.

  • Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and established company quality standards.

  • Attend required safety training and comply with all company and site-specific safety policies and procedures.

  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by project and company leadership.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in electrical construction Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control, preferably within large-scale commercial, industrial, or mission critical projects.

  • Strong electrical construction background with a thorough understanding of electrical systems, installation practices, testing procedures, and applicable codes and standards.

  • Previous experience as a QA/QC Manager, Quality Manager, QA/QC Lead, Electrical Superintendent, Electrical Foreman, or similar position with significant responsibility for construction quality.

  • Experience developing, implementing, and managing project-specific QA/QC programs and documentation.

  • Experience managing electrical inspections, testing, punch lists, deficiency tracking, corrective actions, and project turnover.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, submittals, one-line diagrams, shop drawings, and other technical documentation.

  • Strong understanding of NEC requirements and electrical installation standards.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with General Contractors, Quality Managers, Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, commissioning teams, and company leadership.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate QA/QC documentation and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

  • Familiarity with construction and quality management software.

  • Experience with construction project management tools such as Procore preferred, but not required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.

  • Ability to identify quality issues, determine appropriate corrective actions, and drive deficiencies through resolution.

  • Flexibility to travel and work nights, weekends, and overtime as project needs require.

  • A valid driver’s license.

  • Solid technical knowledge of electrical installations and construction quality standards.
