Job description

Salary:

Quality Control Lab Technician

As our new Quality Control Lab Technician, your primary goal is to execute quality control activities and manage material flow with consistency and accuracy. You will own inspection and testing across incoming, in-process, and outgoing materials, while ensuring traceability, accurate ERP transactions, and alignment between physical inventory and system records.

This role is well suited to a recent graduate with hands-on experience in a lab or manufacturing environment (co-op, internship, or equivalent).


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality control (IQC / IPQC / OQC)
  • Conduct routine materials characterization and inspections using established procedures
  • Record, organize, and maintain accurate test data and documentation
  • Identify and escalate non-conformances
  • Manage material intake, labeling, and lot traceability of wire spools
  • Execute ERP/MES transactions for all material and product states
  • Maintain alignment between physical inventory and system records
  • Prepare and package materials for shipment with complete documentation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods, material flow, and ERP usage
  • Support production operations as needed


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in a lab, manufacturing, or quality-controlled environment (co-op, internship, or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and data integrity
  • Comfort performing routine, repeatable tasks with high accuracy
  • Ability to follow structured procedures and work independently


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field
  • Experience with materials characterization or inspection tools
  • Exposure to quality systems or controlled documentation environments
  • Experience with traceability systems and conformance documentation
  • Experience contributing to process or workflow improvements
