Job description

Job Description:

This position is responsible for inspecting, testing, and releasing all incoming raw materials used in production as well as completes finished product design testing. The Quality Control Lab Technician is responsible for auditing Cambria quality functions and processes by performing tests and monitoring adherence to defined procedures and specifications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Complete visual inspection of incoming raw materials

  • Test and release all incoming raw materials for use in production

  • Communicate test results and ensure non-conforming material is processed appropriately

  • Complete finished product design testing

  • Set up and maintain laboratory test equipment

  • Input the status of raw materials into the Oracle computer system

  • Clean and maintain all equipment in the lab

  • Complete all paperwork in a timely manner and communicate any issues at the shift transition

  • Keep work area clean and orderly

  • Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Quality Control Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation

  • Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control software

  • Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills

  • Basic math skills

  • Industrial work experience

  • Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises

  • Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions

  • Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift

  • Handle Chemicals

  • Bend over multiple times throughout shift

Task Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

  • Steel toed boots

  • High visibility vest

  • Hard hat

Cambria's starting hourly range for this position is $17.15 - $22.66. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. This position may be eligible for a 15% shift differential which would be applied to the base hourly rate for all hours worked during designated overnight shift periods.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
