We're seeking a Quality Control Lab Tech who's ready to be part of a company committed to formulating everyday success for every customer through innovative, reliable products used to adhere, seal, and protect at every level of the building envelope.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The position will work closely with manufacturing to maintain the highest level of quality for all products. Role and responsibilities will include performing QC testing, reviewing production tickets for accuracy, documentation of testing results, and other laboratory support functions. Schedule: Monday -  Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Support Manufacturing and Quality functions as well as R&D
  • Operate lab QC testing equipment and spray foam proportioners
  • Perform troubleshooting as needed on lab equipment, pumps, proportioners
  • Perform production QC on both spray foam and coatings products
  • Bias toward action with ability to work independently as needed
  • Attention to detail with clear and complete documentation skills
  • Strong laboratory skills desired with ability to follow written procedures
  • Ability to work as a key part of a diverse teams
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize work
  • Must maintain a clean work area and employ good housekeeping practices
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • Lab experience in product development or QC is desirable
  • Mechanical ability required, able to work on spray foam equipment
  • Must exhibit attention to detail and demonstrate consistent results
  • Proficiency with various measuring devices and laboratory balances
  • Safe operation of band saws, drum tumbler, and forklift
  • Basic algebra required
  • High school diploma or higher education
