Position Summary

The Quality Manager plays a critical leadership role in ensuring our products, processes, and quality systems consistently meet customer expectations and industry standards. Reporting to the Director of Quality, this position leads Quality Technicians and partners with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to improve product quality, reduce defects, strengthen customer satisfaction, and support business growth.

This role is ideal for a quality professional who enjoys using data to solve problems, leading cross-functional improvement initiatives, managing customer and supplier quality issues, and building a culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop Quality Technicians while fostering a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze warranty, customer complaint, field failure, and internal nonconformance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead corrective and preventive action initiatives using root cause analysis and data-driven problem-solving methodologies.
  • Coordinate and participate in customer audits, quality reviews, and customer-driven improvement activities.
  • Manage compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AIAG, and customer-specific quality requirements.
  • Design, schedule, and conduct quality system, process, and product audits.
  • Manage customer warranty programs and support resolution of quality concerns.
  • Oversee calibration systems and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) activities.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, operations, and engineering teams to improve product quality and process performance.
  • Support training and development activities related to quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive quality metrics, reporting, and communication throughout the organization.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum of five years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and other automotive quality standards.
  • Experience leading corrective actions, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, statistical process control, and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with supplier quality management and auditing.
  • Strong leadership, project management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality analysis tools such as Minitab.
