Job Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector, under the direction of the Quality Supervisor, performs all Quality tasks necessary to ensure product quality in the areas of in-process inspection, incoming inspection and final inspection. This includes the management of non-conforming material.
Responsibilities:
  • Management and maintain the documentation, filing and tracking of incoming inspection reports, as well as non-conforming material reports for incoming, in-process and final inspections.
  • Act as a technical liaison between Quality Engineering and Operations/Engineering for non-conforming material reports/complaints to ensure issues are resolved to best prevent further occurrences.
  • Support activities with Operations, Purchasing and Quality regarding non-conforming material returns and closure of reports.
  • Perform final inspection and operational testing of units and review of Device History Records prior to shipment.
  • Support calibration activities including record maintenance and scheduling of calibration.
  • Support MRB meetings fir NCMR reviews, as required.
  • Aid in the maintenance of all inspection and production records in line with procedures.
  • Promote a culture of Quality focused compliance with customer needs and regulatory requirements.

Experience Requirements:
  • H/S diploma, or equivalent
  • 2-4 years related experience
  • Able to read/write in the English language
  • must have attention to detail
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, and be comfortable learning new software programs

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to [25-50] pounds as required
  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video, and written communication.
  • Ability to occasionally move about the office to access meetings or resources.
